In the midst of this crazy life of mine there really isn’t any other place I’d rather be. Sure every day there’s another thing to stress out about, whether it be uni, work, FASHION WEEK (7 days. 7 DAYS.) or whatever, I could never have imagined that I would’ve had the incredible experiences that I’ve had in the past few years. So freaking blessed.

More after the jump...

These slick gold beauties have completely altered my beauty routine for the better. These By Terry Ombre Blackstars are the best things that have ever happened to my eyes - so silky and creamy, they glide on like a breeze and their staying power goes unmatched and they blend effortlessly and good god are they pigmented… I could go on and on about these bad boys for days on end!

The Blackstars are quite possibly the best eyeshadows out there - big call, I know, but these have fast become an essential in my makeup bag. I currently own Bronze Moon (top), a divine gold-toned bronze that enhances any eye colour, and Misty Rock (bottom), a gorgeous metallic pinky mauve that is unlike any other colour I own. No doubt I'll be picking up a few more when I feel like treating myself, they also come in a few matte shades which I can't wait to try out!

Let me know what your beauty must-haves are, I always love hearing about new things!

Bill Cunningham: a living legend.

I don't think there is a person embedded within the crazy world of fashion that can put a smile on anyone and everyone's face quite like him. And there certainly isn't anyone can pull off cobalt blue like him.

The roving New York Times photographer lives and breathes his work - his New York studio is filling almost to the brim with archival cabinet files full of his work - and that passion shows in the beautiful images he captures on his humble bicycle. The original streetstyle photographer has always favoured photographing real people over celebrities, showcasing what they wear and how it makes them an individual. His On The Street segment is a weekly highlight.

Today the iconic Mr Cunningham turns 85 and shows no signs of slowing down. So here's a tribute and a celebration of all that he has done not only for the world of fashion and photography, but how he has contributed to shaping a culture. He embodies vibrancy in all senses of the word.

I'll leave you with my favourite quote of all time, which also happens to be from the man himself: "It's true today as it ever was, he who seeks beauty will find it".

Amateur editing skills aside, I believe this video sums up the essence of Bill beautifully:

My mother hails from a beautiful country in South East Asia called Laos and grew up and lived in the capital, Vientiane, up until her early teenage years.

It's a country that rarely goes unnoticed, unless you count it being an infamous global hotspot for young backpackers who go there for tubing and drinking.

My first ever NARS product was a Multiple in the shade 'Copacabana'. It was 2011 and I had been waiting until my trip to Hong Kong in celebration of the end of my high school education to finally get my hands on it. I was in heaven when I reached the NARS counter in Langham Place, the matte black packaging got my heart racing a little and when I returned home I couldn't use it for a solid month or so in fear of ruining the perfection. Don't judge me.

It might be strange coming from someone who almost exclusively wears black, white and grey, but Miu Miu will always be a show I look forward to because of the bursts of colours that come along with it. I liken the label to confectionery, super sweet and once you get a taste you can't get enough - it's an addiction.
