And so it begins. Fashion Month is upon us and although I’m on the other side of the world, I couldn’t be more excited. Being at an international fashion week is a dream of mine and seeing all the snaps from the shows and the front row gets me giddy. I can't even to begin to imagine the atmosphere at such an event! And not to mention being surrounded by people who are all there for a cause - a collective love of fashion. Enough daydreaming, let's get down to the nitty gritty.

Rag & Bone has long been one of my favourite brands. The label always manages to nail downtown chic and never disappoints at fashion week, making it one of my most anticipated shows to look out for. The RTW collection for Spring 2014 keeps true to form, a sleek curation of edgy pieces worthy of any it girl.

The collection stuck to a gorgeous and refreshing palette of neutrals, monochrome, light turquoise, soft apricot and sorbet pink. Strong sportswear influences were evident in the racer necklines, cropped tops (they've been revived!) and track-style pants all thrown together with a hint of a different take on prep: low V-neck cricket-style jumpers, sheer button up polo shirts and tailored suits. Oh and a pair of really lustworthy white and cream leather biker jackets, swoon.

Needless to say, R&B provided the perfect kick-off to NYFW and Fashion Month for me and I would warmly welcome any and every piece from the collection into my wardrobe. I can't wait to see what the next few weeks have in store, bring on the #FASHUN.
