Major girl crush Marion Cotillard looking
flawless on the cover of the July/August WSJ Magazine. She's one of the top
actresses today, a stunner born in the wrong era who epitomises classic French
so this post is super-heartbreaking to write... one ofthe most iconic and
original fashion labels the world has ever seen, Yves Saint Laurent, is being
renamed Saint Laurent Paris - complete with a change of its signature initials.
Yes, YSL is no more and SLP is rising up. Personally, I think this is
outrageous, I am even considering making some form of petition. I mean, really
Hedi Slimane? Rebranding YSL and repackaging it into SLP? Are you freaking kidding
me? I was really hoping this was some sort of sick April Fool's joke, only
that's it's not April... But I'm kind of confused about thiswhole
thing apparently they're still sticking with the YSL logo (hooray!)???
"The brand will “use the same fonts, and
similar nomenclature, from that era”, though the Yves Saint Laurent name will
be used for “institutional purposes”. The elegant Cassandre logo will continue
to appear on apparel, accessories, and cosmetics." -styleite.com
series of posts coming up with some lesser-known model crushes of mine. The
first of these posts focusses on the Brazilian beauty, Tayane Leão Melo.
Girlfriend is absolutely stunning, no doubt about that. She reminds me of a mix
between Leigh Lezark, Natasha Poly and Adriana Lima. If I included every single
beautiful shot of her in this post, it would be endless... it was so hard to
narrow it down! So so so flawless, the epitome of a Brazilian goddess.

PLEASE! Nothing like some amazing florals, leopards and pastels to brighten up
a day of gloomy Sydney weather! Falling so hard for this collection, it's
got a mix of styles for everyone really. The collection is really sports luxe
meets flirty and girly with a bit of menswear-inspired tailoring and some
animal print thrown into the pile. And surprisingly, they work so well
together, I don't know how Stella McCartney does it but this collection is genius. Still
white on white looks are going strong and I need some some white lace in my
life right now - that dress is stunnnnnnnnning. Oh and did I mention that I'm
freaking done for this semester?! Can I get a HALLELUJAH? Expect some major
blogging time to be had over the next few weeks, loves!
to form, Dion Lee's latest collection, Lunar Tides, is
full of futuristic, flattering, fashion-forward styles that focus on beautiful
tailored pieces and amazing structural elements of clothing. The lookbook,
featuring one of my favourites Krystal Glynn as well as the stellar Jess Gold,
is wonderfully shot against a black and white minimalist backdrop. So proud to
be an Australian right now and Dion is proving to be one of the next big things
on an international scale, securing a place on the Style.com homepage with this
very collection!!! Insanity! I'm really feeling the colour palette as well with
a stunning mix of greys, blacks, greens, blues, metallics and bold highlighter
colours - a really modern twist on classic-style tees and skirts as well as
interesting shapes and beautiful attention to detail. Shame we missed out on a
Dion Lee show at MBFWA this year, but seeing how wonderful this collection is I
really don't mind. Such a winner!

Loving the interesting textures from both
