MBFWA DAY IV: AJE

I was so excited to be working with a brand that I had personally lusted over and especially for their very first venture into the Australian Fashion Week circuit! Held at the impossibly gorgeous Paspaley Pearls venue at Martin Place, the counters were decorated with swimming pool salt, skulls, sea shells and glass bottles. It was like walking in an underwater wonderland out of the water. After an almost 40 minute delay (cray cray) the show finally began and what a show it was. The collection was bedazzled with trillions of sequins (creams, toffees, blacks, emeralds and golds) and accesorised with pearls, it was breathtaking. Each piece would be very welcome to make friends with the current items of clothing inhabiting my wardrobe. Although most people commented that the final white sequinned maxi dress was the crown jewel of the show, the real standout for me was the look with the crystallised sequinned white and yellow dress with the matching jacket. I was sold.

Spotted: Christine Centenera (another one to check off my list, she looked amazing in her over-the-knee black leather boots), Nikki Phillips, Jodi Gordon, Kate Waterhouse, Margaret from Shine By Three, Sara from Harper & Harley, Jess from Tuula, Yenny from Studded Hearts, Zanita from Zanita Zanita, Romy Frydman, Nicole Pollard, Jemma Baines, Montana Cox, Nicole Pollard, Rachel Rutt, Louise Van Der Vorst, Madison Borbely.
